"Tourism": 21 airlines applied for the payment of aviation incentive payments
Major General Ahmad Hamdy, vice chairman of the Tourism Revitalization Authority, said that 21 airlines submitted the required documents to pay their dues in accordance with the mechanisms of aviation incentive programs. He explained that the companies are divided into 17 ground service companies, agents for airlines and 4 travel agents for airlines.
Deputy Chairman of the Tourism Promotion Authority said in a statement that "the Commission is currently reviewing the documents submitted by the airline agents for the months of November and December 2016. The review is scheduled to be completed before the Eid Al Fitr holiday, For the payment of entitlements to stimulate aviation of all types during the months of January and February as of July 1st.
He added that there are 6 destinations including tourism, passports, immigration and aviation. Hamdi pointed out that a financial provision was approved in US dollars for aviation incentive programs implemented from 1/11/2016 until 31/10/2017 to cover all types of flights. The incentive value ranges from 2000 to 6000 dollars according to the mechanisms approved by the program.
